Tesla India
Tesla India Motors And Energy Private Limited is a subsidiary of Tesla Inc. for its operations in India. The company was registered on 8 January 2021 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.[4] It has officially registered with the Registrar of Companies in India at its Bengaluru office, confirmed by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla on Twitter.[5] Transport Minister of India Nitin Gadkari has confirmed the entry of Tesla in India.[6]

On 14 January 2022, Industries & IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao has made a direct pitch on Twitter[7] to Elon Musk offering to help him smooth the way for his drive into Hyderabad, Telangana.[8]
