Many-spotted hummingbird
The many-spotted hummingbird (Taphrospilus hypostictus) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is the only member of the genus Taphrospilus.

Leucippus hypostictus | |
It is found in lower Andean foothills from Ecuador, through Peru and Bolivia, to north-western Argentina. Previously also listed for Brazil, but this now considered mistaken, it not being included on the official list by CBRO.[4]
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
