Sumit Kumar Singh
Sumit Kumar Singh is an Indian politician from Bihar and a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. As of February 2022, Sumit Kumar Singh is Science and Technology minister in the Government of Bihar.[1] Sumit Kumar Singh has emerged as the only Independent candidate to have secured a victory in the Bihar Assembly elections 2020. For the first time since Independence, just one candidate won the Assembly polls without any party affiliation. Singh comes from a political family which holds influence in the area.[2]
