U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers listed Stites & Harbison among America's Top 25 Law Firms in construction litigation.[1] Tracing its origins to 1832, it is one of the oldest law practices in the nation. One of the firm's first partners was James Speed, who later served as U.S. Attorney General for President Abraham Lincoln.
