Sterling Island

Sterling Island is a man-made island[2] in River Raisin, near Lake Erie. It is in Monroe County, Michigan. Its coordinates are 41°54′30″N 83°22′39″W[1], and the United States Geological Survey gave its elevation as 571 ft (174 m) in 1980.[1] It appears, and is labeled, on a 1927 USGS map of the area.[3]
