Spy Bahu

The show follows the unique story of a female spy who falls in love with a suspected terrorist during a mission. The show begins in Kashmir where young Mahira is playing with her brother and friends. She is very close to her father, moments later her father hears a few people coming and he sends his wife and kids inside. The people are a group of terrorists; they accuse him of being a spy and working for the Indian intelligence. They shoot him and his mother. Meanwhile, Mahira's mother hides her in an Almirah and tells her to close her ears and not scream. Her mother also goes out and she is killed; the terrorists come inside and look for the kids they take Mahira's brother with them. A few hours later, an officer from the intelligence finds Mahira and takes her to Ahmedabad where she is adopted by a Gujarati family. She is now named Sejal. Sejal grows up to be a very clumsy girl; she doesn't remember her original family. She is mocked for being clumsy by others but is loved by her new family. The intelligence officer who saved her now wants her to spy for him and go on a mission. Sejal goes to Kashmir on a family vacation where she slowly remembers her childhood. She imagines her younger self and follows her to a mosque where she meets the intelligence officer who reminds her of her reality. She rebukes him when he asks her to spy for him. Later, she meets Yohan who is also a suspected terrorist.
