Speculaas

Speculaas (Dutch: speculaas Dutch pronunciation: [speːkyˈlaːs], French: spéculoos French pronunciation: [spekylos], German: Spekulatius) is a type of spiced shortcrust biscuit. They can be found in Indonesia, where they are known as spekulaas or spekulaaskoekjes, and usually served at Christmas or on other special occasions.[1]
