Silkeborg station
Silkeborg station (Danish: Silkeborg Banegård) is a railway station serving the town of Silkeborg in Central Jutland, Denmark.[1]

The station is located on the Skanderborg–Skjern railway line from Skanderborg to Skjern. The station opened in 1871 with the Skanderborg-Silkeborg section of the Skanderborg-Skjern railway.[3] The train services are currently operated by Arriva which run frequent regional train services between Aarhus and Herning.[1]
Architecture

The station building is designed by the Danish architect Niels Peder Christian Holsøe.[2] The station building was listed in 1999.[4]
