Shrutika

Shrutika Shivpink is an Indian actress, entrepreneur and television personality who appeared in Tamil and Malayalam-language films.[1][2][3] After two years of acting, she quit the entertainment industry, but returned in 2022 with the third season of the reality series Cooku with Comali.

Career

At 16, Shrutika was picked to star in Shree (2002) opposite Suriya. A critic noted that the two make a "nice screen pair".[4] Her role as Ammu in the Malayalam film Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam was praised by reviewers.[5] Shrutika also appeared in supporting roles in Tamil films Thithikudhe and Nala Damayanthi.[6] She then left film industry to study at SRM College, Chennai for a Visual Communications degree,[7] but said in 2020 that she was open to returning.[2] Shrutika returned to entertainment in 2022 with the third season of the reality series Cooku with Comali.[8]

Personal life

Shrutika is a granddaughter of the deceased Tamil film actor Thengai Srinivasan.[9] Her cousin Yogi, also appeared in a couple of films, while her brother Adithya Shivpink is an actor. She is married to businessman Arjun, and has one son.[10][2] In 2018, Shrutika found Haappy Herbs, an Ayurvedic skin brand.[11]
