Shaanxi SX2190

The SX2190 is a 7-ton class 6x6 special heavy duty truck developed and built by Shaanxi Automobile Group and used by the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China.

The vehicle is replacing the older JN252, Hongyan CQ261 and SX250/SX2150 heavy duty trucks.

Development

It is the licensed production version of the Steyr-Daimler-Puch (now part of General Dynamics European Land Combat Systems) Steyr 91

It entered service in the People's Liberation Army in 1996.[1]

Design

The vehicle is equipped with a 206KW Weichai WD615-77A straight-six diesel engine paired with manual transmission.[2]

The vehicle can reach a speed of 80 km/h and has off-road capability.[3]
