Service Medal FCÁ and SM
The Service Medal FCÁ and SM (Irish: An Bonn Seirbhíse FCÁ agus SM) is a military decoration of the Republic of Ireland, it is awarded to members of the Reserve Defence Forces for 7 years or more of service.

Established in 1961 to award long-serving members of the Reserve Defence Forces.
Eligibility
All NCO's, Privates and Commissioned officers of the Reserve Defence Forces are awarded the medal after 7 years of service.
After 12 years, a new Ribbon with a gold stripe is awarded, as well as a bar.
After 21 Years a bar inscribed with "21" is awarded and attached to the ribbon.[1]
