Scott Weintrob
Scott Weintrob is a documentary filmmaker and television producer in Los Angeles, California. He is the founder of Large Eyes a creative studio based in Los Angeles with an overall deal at Matador Content, a Boat Rocker Media company.

Weintrob is best known for directing Rihanna's Savage x Fenty show Vol. 3 on Amazon Prime. Weintrob also directed Apple TV+'s launch documentary series called Home from the executive producers of Chef's Table and the Defiant Ones. Weintrob created and directed the original documentary series Fastest Car for Netflix and is of the top ten most-watched series on the global platform.
Weintrob's creative studio created the original launch series SKRRT with Offset for Roku. The series features Migos member Offset and several artists including Cardi B, Jay Leno, Migos, Lil Yachty and Chance the Rapper experiencing one of kind car adventures.
In commercials he has completed spots for brands including Corvette, Audi, Ford, Hyundai, Cadillac, Volvo and Lenovo.[1] His work has received awards including the Cannes Lion, D&AD's and Creative Circle's.
In September 2021, he had signed a deal with Boat Rocker.[2]
Career
Weintrob gained notoriety as director of the highly popular BBC television series, Top Gear.[3] In 2016, Weintrob directed his first short film, Two Legged Rat Bastards written by Daniel Wallace (author).[4] His brand work on Walkers for Abbot Mead Vikers BBDO was awarded at Cannes Film Festival, D&AD and the Creative Circle Awards.[5] His feature documentary on streetwear called Built To Fail, features interviews with artists including ASAP Rocky and fashion luminaries like Tommy Hilfiger.[6] He is credited as director of the documentary "An Evening in Space" on fashion photographer David LaChapelle and completed a short documentary on actress Kim Basinger entitled "Danger".[7]
Netflix, Fastest Car: 2018 - 2019
Weintrob is the creator, executive producer and director of Fastest Car for Netflix. The series serves as Netflix's first global automotive series, is produced by Conde Nast Entertainment and Large Eyes for the streaming service. On August 14, 2018, Netflix renewed the series for a second season. The second season launched on September 20, 2019, and features seven episodes. Al Edgington, Joe LaBracio, Scott Weintrob, and Jeremy Finn returned as executive producers.
Roku, SKRRT with Offset: 2019 - Present
In 2019 it was announced that Weintrob and Offset would collaborate on a series as Offset and his celebrity friends—like Cardi B, Lil Yachty, and Jay Leno explore all things cars. All episodes streaming now on Jeffrey Katzenberg's Quibi.
Apple TV+, Home: 2019 - present
Weintrob directed Rihanna's Savage x Fenty show Vol. 3 on Amazon Prime. Weintrob directed two episodes of the launch documentary Home for Apple TV+ from the Executive Producers of Chef’s Table and The Defiant Ones.
Early Years
Weintrob's formative years were spent as a photographer's assistant at the famous East London Click Studios where he assisted fashion photographers Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Albert Watson, Rankin and David Simms for magazines including Vogue, and Dazed and Confused.[8]
