Career
He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Balrampur in the 1991 and 1996 Indian general election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha from 1980 to 1985.[2][3][4]
Death
He died from a cardiac arrest and COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in India.[5]
