Sahasa Simha
Sahasa Simha (transl. Adventurous/Brave Lion) is a 1982 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by Joe Simon and produced by M. Pandurangan and M. Ramalingam. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Kajal Kiran, Rajya Lakshmi and Vajramuni. The film has musical score by Chellapilla Satyam.[1][2] Though credited to be based on the novel Chakravyuha by Manu, critics have noted that the plot has structural similarity with the 1974 English movie The Odessa File.[3]

Overview
One of the crime thrillers from the early 80s, the film stars Vishnuvardhan. The convoluted plot begins with family-centered villainy, but then shifts to Bombay to expand into a story of child kidnappers. Police officer Pratap (Dr. Vishnuvardhan) busts the gang. Vishnuvardhan and Thoogudeepa Sreenivas were appreciated for their roles. The movie was industry hit breaking all the previous records in KFI. This movie catapulted Vishnuvardhan into superstardom and making him the highest paid Kannada actor and one among the highest paid actors in South Indian film industry during that period.[4]
