Roger Cloutier

Roger L. Cloutier Jr. is a United States Army lieutenant general who serves as the Commander of the Allied Land Command. Previously, he served as the Commander of the United States Army Africa and the Southern European Task Force.[1][2][3] Cloutier graduated from the University of San Diego in 1988 with a bachelors degree in political science and a masters in international relations.[1]

Rumors of capture

In April 2022, rumors began circulating that Cloutier had been captured by Russian forces in Mariupol whilst training the Azov Battalion. PolitiFact rated this information as false,[4] also Reuters. Following the rumors Cloutier made an online post via his LinkedIn profile.[5]
