Razarudin Husain

Dato' Razarudin bin Husain (Jawi: رضاالدين ابن حسين; born 15 March 1963) is Malaysian police officer who has served as Deputy Inspector-General of Police since December 2021.[1]

Career

Razarudin joined the police force on 27 December 1981 at the age of 18. During his service, he served as Deputy Commander of the Special Task Force On Organised Crime (STAFOC) followed by his appointment as Director of the Penang Criminal Investigation Department, then he was appointed as Sabah Deputy Police Commissioner.[2] He was later promoted as Perak Deputy Chief Police Officer, followed by his promotion cum transfer as Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department Director and later returned to the Perak police contingent as the state's Chief Police Officer.[3] On 22 December 2021, while serving as Perak Chief Police Officer, he was promoted as Deputy Inspector-General of Police, replacing Mazlan Lazim who later retired on 25 December 2021.[4]
