As of 2001 India census, Ranni had a population of 13,880 with 6,672 males and 7,208 females.[1] Ancient Thottamonkavu Bhagavathi temple, India Pentecostal Church of God, Assemblies of God Church, St. Thomas Church (Valiyapally) are situated in Ranni.
