Smicripidae
Smicripidae is a family of beetles, in the suborder Polyphaga.[1][2] The common name for this family is palmetto beetles.[3] The family only has one extant genus, Smicrips, and one extinct genus, Mesosmicrips, known from the Cenomanian aged Burmese amber.
