Octavian Armașu
Octavian Armașu (born 29 July 1969 in Chișinău, USSR) is a Moldovan politician who currently serves as Minister of Finances of Moldova since January 2016,[1] succeeding Anatol Arapu at this post. On 30 November 2018 he became the head of the National Bank of Moldova, succeeding Sergiu Cioclea at this post.

Controversies
    
On 30 September 2016, a Moldovan civic activist, Andrei Donică, spilled a bucket of milk over Octavian Armașu, reproaching him the attitude of the Moldovan government regarding the 2014 Moldovan bank fraud scandal.[3][4]
