Nazan Saatci
Nazan Saatci (born June 22, 1958[1]) is a Turkish actress, novelist, and environmental activist. She is known for her performances in Tokatçi (1983), Ölümsüz (1982), and Hulchal (1985).[2][3]

Early life and family
Saatci was born on June 22, 1958, in Samsun, a historical coastal city near the Black Sea in Turkey. After completing her high school education, she went to the University of Istanbul to get a bachelor's degree in Turkish Linguistics and literature. After enjoying her long cinema career, she moved to California along with her family.[4][5]
Acting career
Saatci made her screen debut in Fakir (1979). Her first breakthrough as an actress was a Turkish TV play Tokatçi (1982).[6][7] Her first Urdu movie Halchal was released on April 5, 1985 in Pakistani cinemas.[8] Then from 1985 to 1988, she appeared in several Lollywood movies like Zanjeer, Manila ki bijliyan,Talash, and Badla.[9][10] In 1995, she worked in an Iranian spy movie Playing with Death that was filmed in Iran and Turkey.[11]
Beauty contests
Saatci was the second runner-up in Miss Europa 1978 (Unofficial Miss Europe 1978) which was held in Reggio Emilia, Italy.[12] She was again the second runner-up in Miss Asia Pacific (1983) held in the Philippines. There she also received the special award of Miss Talent.[13][14]

After having a successful big-screen career, when Nazan wrote lyrics for a music album param yoki ki. Some of her literary works are:

Saatci appeared in a Lux commercial on Pakistan television during '1980s.[16][17][18]
Spiritual beliefs
Since 2008, Saatci became convinced that she had been experiencing one-to-one conversations with fairies, the spiritual beings from the other world. In 2011, she formed Fairy Voices, a non-profit organization, to share her spiritual experience with her fellow human beings. She claims to have some recorded fairy voices and images as evidence for an unseen fairy world.[19]
