Lesser ground cuckoo
The lesser ground cuckoo (Morococcyx erythropygus) is a species of cuckoo in the monotypic genus Morococcyx in the family Cuculidae.[3] It is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.[1] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.[1]
