Mikhail Tumasov

Mikhail Tumasov is a Russian LGBT activist.[1] In 2011 he founded the Avers LGBT movement in Samara in response what was known as the 'Milonov law', which banned “propaganda of homosexuality”.[2] He previously worked with the Interregional Movement of the Russian LGBT, and is now the network director for the Russian LGBT Network.[3][4] In 2012, he was attacked with acid after coming out to a friend.[5]
