Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry

Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry (born 1983, Suriname) is a Surinamese lawyer who is the First Lady of Suriname as the wife of President Chan Santokhi.[1]

Personal life

Seenacherry became First Lady of Suriname when her long-term partner, Chan Santokhi became president after winning the 2020 Surinamese general election on May 25, 2020.[2] The couple married in a private ceremony in July 2020.[3]
