Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri (Urdu مولانا بشیر فاروق قادری) a prominent Pakistani humanitarian, philanthropist[5] who founded the Saylani Welfare Trust.[6] He is chairman of Saylani Welfare Trust [7]

Personal life

Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri born in Shikarpur on March 3, 1963, in holy month of Ramadan.He belongs from the Gujrati memon Bantawa Community and his father Abdul Ghaffar Polani was a businessmen.He completed his schooling from Islamia High School Shikarpur and then travelled to Karachi in 1975 afterword his intermediate education from Abdullah Haroon College and Dars-e-Nizami from Darul Uloom Amjadia a sunni barelvi institution in Karachi.He is Mureed (disciple) of Hazrat Moulana Ilyas Qadri[8]

Awards

He received Sitara-i-Imtiaz from President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi on 23 March 2019 for his contributions to the society.[9]
