Mamosta
Mamosta or Mam is a Kurdish respectful term, usually said by younger generations to seniors. The term is also sometimes used for a person who has higher education or political knowledge.
Etymology
Mamosta means "mister", while Mam means "uncle" in Kurdish.[1] Although both terms are used interchangeably.
Dress
People who are called Mamosta generally wear Kurdish traditional clothes as their formal clothing.[2]
