Makaman Kano Iliyasu
Makaman Kano Iliyasu a descendant of Makaman Kano Isa I, was a Kingmaker in the Kano Emirate Council. He belonged to the Jobawa clan of the Fulani.

History
He was appointed as a Kingmaker of the Kano Emirate Council with the royal title of Makaman Kano by Emir of Kano Mohammed Tukur, he ascended the throne when Makaman Kano Fulailu died.[1]
Reign and death
Makaman Kano Iliyasu ascended the throne during the Kano Civil War.[2]He ruled over the District of Wudil, comprising Wudil, Sumaila, Takai and Garko. He died at Kamri during the Kano Civil War and was succeeded by Makaman Kano Mujeli.[3][4]
