List of active ships of the Turkish Naval Forces

The Turkish Naval Forces or Turkish Navy is the naval warfare service branch of the Armed Forces of Turkey. As of January 2021, the navy operates a wide variety of ships, including; 16 frigates, 10 corvettes, 12 submarines and various other ships.[1][2]

TAI Anka  Turkey UCAV Anka A/B and S 14[16] With a payload capacity of 200kg, the Anka-S platform can carry a range of mission-specific payloads. The unmanned aircraft has an endurance of more than 24 hours and can fly at a maximum altitude of 30,000ft. The UAV has two underwing weapon stations, which can carry weapons such as the Rokestan Smart Micro Munition (MAM-L) air-launched missile launcher and the CIRIT 2.75in guided rocket pod to engage light armoured vehicles, personnel, military shelters, and ground radar stations.[17]
Baykar Bayraktar TB2  Turkey UCAV Bayraktar A/B and Bayraktar TB2S 110+[18] The power plant integrates a 100hp internal combustion engine driving a two-bladed variable pitch propeller. The tactical UAV has a range of more than 150km and can fly at a maximum altitude of 27,030ft. It has a maximum speed ranging between 70kt and 120kt and endurance of 27 hours.

Bayraktar TB2 UAV has the capacity to carry a payload of 150kg and operate during day and night. The UAV has a length of 6.5m, wing span of 12m and a maximum take-off weight of 650kg.[19] Bayraktar TB2 can carry 4 MAM-L and MAM-C.

TF-2000 Destroyer[23] Air Defense Destroyer Turkey Under development. As of 2021, 7 are planned to be constructed. The vessel will be equipped with Turkish indigenous anti-ship missile Atmaca and other locally developed equipment. It is primarily designed as an air-defense-warfare vessel for the Turkish Navy.[24]
Istanbul-class frigate Frigate Turkey The I-class Frigate Program was launched to construct four frigates to replace aging YAVUZ-class Frigates in mid 2020s. Developed under the MILGEM indigenous warship program, the Istanbul-class is an enlarged variant of the Ada-class anti-submarine corvette.[25]
Barbaros-class frigate modernization Frigate Turkey Within the MLU project scope, indigenous systems developed by ASELSAN – HAVELSAN Joint Venture will replace the existing combat systems onboard 4 Barbaros-class Frigates of the Turkish Naval Forces (Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri). The modernization of the first frigate is set to be completed in November 2022, while the last ship of the class is expected to be delivered in 2024.[26]

Aircraft Carrier Aircraft Carrier Turkey List of the demands has been delivered to STM for the construction of the Turkish aircraft carrier. It is expected to be around 50,000 tons with 1800 personnel with STOVL and regular take off. [28]

ULAQ Unmanned surface vehicle (AUSV) Turkey ULAQ is the first indigenous and locally developed AUSV. The vehicle is being developed by a joint venture between Ares Shipyard and METEKSAN. The vessel is planned to be equipped with four CIRIT and two L-UMTAS anti-tank missile systems provided by Roketsan. Moreover, ULAQ is projected to have a 400-kilometer-long cruising range with 65km per hour maximum speed. Currently, the project is undergoing sea trials and will start to fire tests through the third quarter of 2021.[30][31]
