Lane Lambert
Lane Douglas Lambert (born November 18, 1964) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward drafted 25th overall in the second round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Lambert played 283 games in the National Hockey League for the Quebec Nordiques, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings.

Lambert was the head coach of the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League[1][2] until he was promoted as an assistant coach for the Nashville Predators on June 9, 2011.[3] He was also an assistant coach with the Washington Capitals during their 2018 Stanley Cup run, however he signed with the New York Islanders after head coach Barry Trotz signed with the team in 2018.[4]

Personal life
Lambert was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan. He was married to Andi Lambert, who died September 16, 2015 of breast cancer.[5] They had one child together and Lambert had another child from a previous marriage.[6]
Lane married Annie Wixom in August 2018 and together they raise their four children. [7]
Lane has two brothers, Dale and Ross, who also played hockey.[8] His nephew Jimmy currently plays hockey for the University of Michigan, [9] and his nephew Brad is regarded as one of the top prospects for the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
