Khufiya

Khufiya is an upcoming Hindi-language spy thriller film written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.[1] The film is based on the popular espionage novel 'Escape to Nowhere' by Amar Bhushan.[2] It stars Tabu, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.[3] The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2022.[4]

Plot

Krishna Mehra (Tabu) is an operative at the Research & Analysis Wing. She is assigned to track down the mole selling India's defense secrets, while grappling with her dual identity as a spy and lover.

The official announcement of the film was made on September 2021.[5] Principal photography of the film began on October 2021.[6][7] The final schedule of the film began on April 2022.[8][9][10]

Release

The film was earlier announced on Netflix Tudum:A Global Fan Event by the Netflix india on september 2021.[11] The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2022.[12]
