He holds a bachelor of law from the Queensland University of Technology Australia. He joined the High Court of Australia in 1999 and as a barrister he continued in the Supreme Court of Queensland.
He became judge at the High Court of Fiji under the civil division in 2013, he is serving as the head Fiji Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission since September 2018, and served as a president of Dakshina India Andhra Sangam Fiji of Lautoka Branch for two consecutive term until 2012.[1]
