Jill Tokuda
Jill N. Tokuda (born 1975/1976)[1] is an American businesswoman and politician who served as a member of the Hawaii Senate for the 24th district from 2006 to 2018.

Education
Tokuda earned her BA in international relations with a minor in Japanese studies from George Washington University.[2]
Elections
- 2018: Tokuda chose not to run for reelection to become a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii.[3] In the August 11, 2018, Democratic primary, Tokuda lost the party nomination to Josh Green.[4]
- 2014: Tokuda was unopposed for the August 9, 2014, Democratic primary.[5] She won the November 4, 2014, General election with 13,817 votes (70,8%) against Republican candidate Kilomana Michael Danner.[6]
- 2010: Tokuda was unopposed for the September 18, 2010, Democratic primary.[7] She won the November 2, 2010, General election with 10,010 votes (56.4%) against Republican candidate Tracy Nakano Bean.[8]
- 2006: Tokuda was unopposed for the September 23, 2006, Democratic primary.[9] She won the November 7, 2006, General election with 9,429 votes (55.6%) against Republican candidate Keoki Leong.[10]
Recent career
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tokuda advised the Hawaii Data Collaborative and helped track progress on federal relief spending.[11]
In 2019, Tokuda was named as the executive director for the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center on Maui.[12]
