Jessica Uhl

Jessica Uhl is the Chief Financial Officer of Shell and serves as a Director on the board. Jessica has been recognized as one the top 50 Most Powerful Women in the World by Forbes for her global leadership[1] and by Fortune for her business leadership.[2] In 2021 Jessica was named to The Global OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists supported by Yahoo Finance.[3] This list showcases the 50 top LGBT+ business leaders in the world. On 9th September, 2021, Institutional Investor recognized Jessica as the best CFO in her sector amongst European Corporates.[4]

Jessica is a non-executive director of the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.[5]

October 2019 she was ranked 24th on Fortune list of Most Powerful International Business Women.[6]

She is the second woman to have been appointed as Shell's CFO, after Judy Boynton (2001–2004).[7][8][9][10][11][12]

Jessica was raised in California and has degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and INSEAD.[13] She formerly worked for Enron and Citibank.[14][15] She is married and has three children.[16]
