Jaz Shelley

Jazmin Pamela Shelley (born 13 May 2000) is an Australian basketball player for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

College career

During her freshman season, Shelley averaged 6.3 points and 1.5 assists backing up Sabrina Ionescu on Oregon’s Pac-12 championship team. During a victory over UC Riverside on 16 December 2019, Shelley set the program record with 10 made 3-pointers (10-for-14) while scoring a career-high 32 points.[1]

After shooting 42 percent behind the arc as a freshman, Shelley made just 33.3 percent of her threes as a sophomore. Yet, she was limited due to injuries.[1] She averaged 4.0 points and 1.9 assists in 22 games (11 starts) in her last season and helped her team reach the Sweet 16 of the 2021 NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament.[1]

In April 2021, Shelley announced that she would transfer to Nebraska.[1]

She has been a member of the Australian national team.
