Jasin (town)

Jasin is a town and the seat of Jasin District in Malacca, Malaysia.[1] Jasin Municipal Council (Malay: Majlis Perbandaran Jasin), previously known as Jasin District Council (Malay: Majlis Daerah Jasin) from 1 July 1978 until 1 January 2007 and the Jasin Rural District Council (Malay: Majlis Daerah Luar Bandar Jasin) from 23 August 1957 until 1 July 1978, is the local authority of Jasin town.[2][3]

Tourist attractions

Agricultural MuseumOpened to public in October 1990, the museum displays the historical activities and the economy of the local Jasin people in the fields of agriculture.[4][5][6] Its building was originally the first post office in Jasin Town.[7][8][9]
Jasin SquareA town square which features facilities such as reflection place, playground, stage, rest hut and extreme sport area.[10][11]

Transportation

The Jasin Sentral bus station is located within the town.[12]
