J. Deotis Roberts

James Deotis Roberts (born July 12, 1927) is an American theologian. He is Distinguished Professor of Philosophical Theology at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a pioneering figure in the Black Theology movement.[1][2][3]

He was president of the Interdenominational Theological Center from 1980 to 1983.[1]
