History

The first known artist under Good Entertainment was Shinhwa, who signed under the label shortly after leaving SM Entertainment.[1]

In 2005, Good Entertainment hosted a show called Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa! as part of a joint venture with Coca-Cola and Mnet with the goal of forming a new boy group to succeed Shinhwa.[2][3] The winning members formed the group Battle and would make their debut in 2006.[4][5]

In 2007, the company planned to debut a group called Five Girls, consisting of former Secret member, Hyoseong, G.NA, former Wonder Girls member Yubin, former After School member Uee and former T-ara/Spica member Yang Jiwon. However, the group did not debut due to the company's financial troubles.[6]

By 2009, all Good Entertainment artists were either inactive or signed to different labels, leaving the company's future in doubt. On February 13, 2018, Good Entertainment closed down their website and remaining accounts, confirming their dissolution.[7]
