History

FORE School of Management was established in 1981 by Foundation for Organizational Research and Education (FORE) as a research centre.[2]

Rankings

FORE School of Management is ranked 43rd among management institutes in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2021.[3]

Student life

The school admits students from a set of different backgrounds ranging from engineering, liberal studies, sports, gender, and geography.[4] The admissions are based on overall percentile score of Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).[5] It also hosts multiple student-led councils such as Antar,[6] and TEDxFORESchool.[7]

Controversies

In 2016, the school was fined by the Supreme Court of India for admitting 42 students over the sanctioned seats for the academic year 2016.[8][9]
