Fluvidona anodonta (North Pine River freshwater snail) is a species of minute freshwater snail in the family Hydrobiidae. The species is endemic to Australia, inhibiting in the Moreton Bay River System.[3] The snail is found under rocks in small streams, creeks and waterfalls.[4] The North Pine River freshwater snail has a height of 2mm and the shell has a light yellowish-white colour.  In 2011, Fluvidona anodonta was listed as a vulnerable species, only being recorded 4 times since its discovery in 1892.[4] Habitat fragmentation and destruction and pollution are the largest habitatual threats to the extinction of the species.[3] There are no current species conservational efforts for the snail, only reports providing recommendations. These recommendations include protecting and monitoring the environment in which the snails inhabit.
