Faiza Iftikhar

Faiza Iftikhar is a Pakistani writer, author, novelist and screen-writer. She is active in the Pakistani television industry and known for her romantic and social plays. Her popular plays include Dil Lagi,[1] Aunn Zara, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi[2] etc. Her writing for Ranjha Ranjha Kardi earned her Lux Style Award of Best TV Writer.[3] Her currently on-air projects are Pehli Si Muhabbat [4] and Prem Gali .[5] Furthermore, she wrote the screenplay of upcoming Lollywood movie Tich Button .[6]

Education and background

Iftikhar has a masters' in political science and sociology.[7] She has a son and two daughters and currently resides in Lahore.[7] She revealed in an interview that Altaf Fatima, Urdu novelist and short story writer, encouraged her to write when she was her student.[7]
