Early life, family and education
Dyllan Christopher Fernandez was born in Los Angeles, California.[1] He is the great-nephew of Hawaiian entertainer Augie Rey (Fernandez).[1]
Dyllan attended Flintridge Preparatory School.[2]
Career
Christopher's most prominent role is as one of the lead characters in the 2006 film Unaccompanied Minors, playing Spencer, the leader of a group of youths stranded in an airport on Christmas. He played the role of Ralphie Anderson in the Stephen King TV miniseries Storm of the Century (1999) and a minor role, as Chick's estranged young son Tommy, in Armageddon (1998).[2]
He first began performing in television advertisements. At age 2, he appeared in a Clorox commercial circa 1994.[2] He was in singing Christmas Hallmark Cards commercials during December 2006 and in a KFC commercial as a grocery store employee. In 2009, he appeared in an Olive Garden commercial ad.
Christopher played the young son of Murphy Brown on the sitcom Murphy Brown (1994–95).[2] He had a role in children's sci-fi TV series Phil of the Future and was in an episode each of the TV drama series Without a Trace (2005), ER and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.[2] He played Eli Bilbre on the TV series Bones in season 4.[2]
