Vijay Singla

Vijay Singla is an Indian politician and the MLA representing the Mansa Assembly Constituency in the Punjab Legislative Assembly. He is the Minister of Health and Family welfare and Medical education, Govt of punjab. He is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party.[1][2] He was elected as the MLA in the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election.[3]

Member of Legislative Assembly

Singla was elected as the MLA in the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election. He represented the Mansa Assembly Constituency in the Punjab Legislative Assembly. He took oath as a cabinet minister along with nine other MLAs on 19 March at Guru Nanak Dev auditorium of Punjab Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh.[4][5] Eight ministers including Singla who took oath were greenhorn (first term) MLAs.[6]

As a cabinet minister in the Mann ministry, Singla was given the charge of two departments of the Punjab Government:[7]

  1. Department of Health and Family Welfare
  2. Department of Medical Education and Research
