David Weil (showrunner)

David Weil is an American writer, producer, director and showrunner for television.[1][2][3] He is known for creating the Amazon Prime Video television series Hunters (2020–present).[4][5][6][7] He is also known for creating the Amazon anthology miniseries Solos (2021).[8][9][10][11] He also co-created the series Invasion (2021–present) with Simon Kinberg for Apple TV+.[12]

Weil grew up in Great Neck, New York.[13] He is Jewish.[14] He is also the grandson of Holocaust survivors.[15]
