David Lucas (politician)

David Eugene Lucas (born April 23, 1950) is an American politician. He is a member of the Georgia State Senate from the 26th District, serving since 2012. He is a member of the Democratic party.[1] Lucas also served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1975 to 2011. He is the father of gridiron football player Al Lucas who died during a game while playing for the Los Angeles Avengers.[2]
