Yoan Miguel Aybar (born July 3, 1997) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization. Before 2018, he played as an outfielder. Listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) and 165 pounds (75 kg), he both throws and bats left-handed.

Aybar was initially an outfielder in the farm system of the Boston Red Sox, primarily playing as a center fielder.[1] In 2014, for the Dominican Summer League Red Sox, he batted .271 with 26 RBIs in 56 games.[2] He played for the Gulf Coast League Red Sox in 2015, batting .268 with 16 RBIs in 45 games. In 2016, he played for the Lowell Spinners, recording three home runs and 19 RBIs with a .207 average in 60 games.[2] Aybar spent 2017 playing for Lowell and the Greenville Drive, appearing in 80 games total while batting .230 with two home runs and 32 RBIs.[2]

In 2018, Aybar converted to pitching.[1] During 2018, with the Gulf Coast League Red Sox and Lowell Spinners, he appeared in 17 games (all in relief) compiling a 4.13 ERA and 2–1 record with 27 strikeouts in 28+1⁄3 innings pitched.[3] In 2019, for the Greenville Drive and Class A-Advanced Salem Red Sox, Aybar had a 4.61 ERA and 1–3 record while striking out 70 batters in 56+2⁄3 innings in 44 relief appearances.[3]

The Red Sox added Aybar to their 40-man roster after the 2019 season.[4] He was optioned to Class A-Advanced Salem on March 8, 2020.[5] Aybar did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[6] On December 3, 2020, Aybar was traded to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for minor-league infielder Christian Koss.[7] On March 18, 2022, Aybar was designated for assignment by the Rockies.[8]

On March 20, 2022, Aybar was claimed off waivers by the New York Yankees.[9] However, Aybar was then waived by the Yankees and claimed off of waivers by the Chicago White Sox.[10]

Jason Peter Bilous (born August 11, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Bilous attended Caravel Academy in Bear, Delaware.[11] As a junior in 2014, he went 11-1 with 84 strikeouts over 61+2⁄3 innings alongside batting .483.[12] He underwent Tommy John surgery during the fall of his senior year, and did not play a game that season.[13] He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 29th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and instead enrolled at Coastal Carolina University where he played college baseball.[14]

In 2016, as a freshman at Coastal Carolina, Bilous pitched 44+2⁄3 innings, going 3-1 with a 4.43 ERA and 47 strikeouts as Coastal Carolina won the 2016 College World Series.[15] As a sophomore in 2017, he appeared in 13 games (ten starts) in which he went 3-2 with a 4.61 ERA and sixty strikeouts over 52+2⁄3 innings.[16] In 2016 and 2017, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[17] In 2018, his junior year, he started 16 games and pitched to a 7-3 record and 4.00 ERA, striking out 105 over 83+1⁄3 innings.[18] Following the season's end, he was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 13th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft.[19][20]

Bilous signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut with the Great Falls Voyagers of the Rookie Advanced Pioneer League, going 0-4 with a 7.85 ERA over 36+2⁄3 innings.[21] In 2019, he played with the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League where he pitched to a 6-10 record with a 3.70 ERA over 31 games (17 starts), striking out 113 batters over 104+2⁄3 innings.[22] He did not play a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.[23] Bilous began the 2021 season with the Winston-Salem Dash of the High-A East and was promoted to the Birmingham Barons of the Double-A South in late May.[24] Over twenty starts between the two clubs, Bilous went 3-8 with a 5.76 ERA and 106 strikeouts over 79+2⁄3 innings.[25]

On November 19, 2021, Chicago selected Bilous' contract and added him to their 40-man roster.[26] He returned to the Barons to open the 2022 season.[27]

Andrew Dalquist (born November 13, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Dalquist was born and grew up in Redondo Beach, California and attended Redondo Union High School. As a senior, he went 9-0 with a 1.78 ERA and 103 strikeouts.[28] Dalquist had committed to play college baseball at the University of Arizona prior to being drafted.[29]

Dalquist was selected in the 3rd round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox.[30] After signing with the team, he was assigned to the Arizona League White Sox where he made three one-inning appearances, all of which were scoreless.[31][32] After the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19, Dalquist was added to the White Sox's alternate training site midway through the Major League season.[33][34]

Dalquist was assigned to the Low-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers for the 2021 season.[35] Over 23 starts, he went 3-9 with a 4.99 ERA and 79 strikeouts over 83 innings.[36]

Caleb Aron Freeman (born February 23, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Freeman attended Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas. He played college baseball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and in 2018 he played collegiate summer baseball for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[37][38] A relief pitcher throughout his three seasons for the Red Raiders, he ended his junior year in 2019 2-0 with a 6.89 ERA over 15+2⁄3 innings. After the season, he was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 15th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.[39][40] He signed for $25,000.[41]

Freeman spent his professional season in 2019 with the Rookie-level Arizona League White Sox, the Great Falls Voyagers of the Rookie Advanced Pioneer League, and the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League, going 4-2 with a 2.19 ERA and 38 strikeouts over 24+2⁄3 innings. He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season.[42] For the 2021 season, he split the year between the Winston-Salem Dash of the High-A East and the Birmingham Barons of the Double-A South with whom he made 39 relief appearances and went 2-3 with a 3.27 ERA and 55 strikeouts over 44 innings.[43] He was selected to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Glendale Desert Dogs where he was named to the Fall Stars game.[44] He opened the 2022 season back with Birmingham.[45]

Weston Douglas Kath (born August 3, 2002) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Kath attended Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.[46] He committed to play college baseball at Arizona State University.[47][48] He played in both the Area Code Games and the World Wood Bat Association World Championship in 2020.[49] In 2021, as a senior, he helped lead Desert Mountain to a 5A State Championship title.[50] He was subsequently named the Arizona Gatorade High School Baseball Player of the Year after batting .486 with 11 home runs, 29 RBIs, and 34 runs scored.[51]

Kath was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the second round with the 57th overall selection of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[52] He signed for $1.8 million.[53] He made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League White Sox.[54] Over 104 at-bats in 28 games, he slashed .212/.287/.337 with three home runs and 15 RBIs.[55] He was assigned to the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers of the Single-A Carolina League to begin the 2022 season.[56]

William Anthony Kincanon (born October 27, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Kincanon attended Riverside Brookfield High School in Riverside, Illinois, where he played baseball and basketball.[57] In 2014, his senior year, he went 9-3 with a 0.91 ERA alongside batting .486.[58] After graduating from high school, he played two seasons of college baseball at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois.[59] After his sophomore year in 2016, he was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 29th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and instead transferred to Indiana State University.[60] As a junior at Indiana State, he started 14 games in which he compiled a 5-5 record and a 5.24 ERA over 79 innings.[61][62] After the season, he was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 11th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.[63]

Kincanon signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut that year with the Great Falls Voyagers of the Rookie Advanced Pioneer League, going 2-1 with a 3.94 ERA over 21 relief appearances.[64] He spent 2018 with the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League where he went 3-1 with a 3.63 ERA over 26 games out of the bullpen, and 2019 with the Winston-Salem Dash of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League where he pitched to a 3-3 record and a 1.86 ERA over 58 relief innings, striking out 71, earning All-Star honors.[65][66] He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.[67] To begin the 2021 season, he was assigned to the Birmingham Barons of the Double-A South.[68] After pitching four innings, he was placed on the injured list, and missed the remainder of the year.[69] Prior to the start of the 2022 season, he underwent Tommy John surgery.[70]

Kade Robert McClure (born February 12, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

McClure was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio, where grew up and played youth football with Mitch Trubisky.[71] He attended Mentor High School where he played baseball and basketball.[72][73] As a junior in 2013, McClure went 10-1 with a 0.88 ERA and 83 strikeouts over 71+2⁄3 innings.[74] Although McClure was expected to be selected in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, he went undrafted and thus enrolled at the University of Louisville where he played college baseball.[75][76]

In 2015, McClure's freshman season at Louisville, he appeared in 16 games (four starts) in which he compiled a 1-1 record with a 4.18 ERA.[77] As a sophomore in 2016, he pitched in 15 games (making 13 starts) and went 12-0 with a 2.54 ERA, garnering a 0.88 WHIP while striking out 77 batters over 78 innings, earning All-American honors.[78][79][80] Following the season, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Brewster Whitecaps.[80] As a junior in 2017, McClure was Louisville's number two starter.[81] For the year, he started 18 games, pitching to an 8-4 record with a 3.58 ERA, compiling 111 strikeouts over 103 innings.[82] Following the season, he was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the sixth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.[83][84][85]

McClure signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona League White Sox before earning a promotion to the Great Falls Voyagers of the Rookie Advanced Pioneer League in July.[86] In August, he was promoted to the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League.[87] Over 11 innings pitched between the three teams, he gave up one run while striking out 19.[88][89] He began the 2018 season back with Kannapolis, but his season was cut short after eight starts due to a knee injury that required surgery.[90][91] Over those eight starts, he went 3-1 with a 3.02 ERA, striking out 42 batters over 41+2⁄3 innings.[92][93][94] McClure returned healthy in 2019 and began the season back with Kannapolis before being promoted to the Winston-Salem Dash of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League in June.[95][96] Over 22 starts between the two clubs, he pitched to a 4-6 record with a 3.25 ERA, compiling 99 strikeouts and a 1.22 WHIP over 121+2⁄3 innings.[97]

McClure did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.[98] To begin the 2021 season, he was assigned to the Birmingham Barons of the Double-A South.[68] After 15 starts in which he pitched to a 2-4 record, a 3.82 ERA, and 77 strikeouts over 68+1⁄3 innings, he was promoted to the Charlotte Knights of the Triple-A East in early August.[99] Over nine starts with Charlotte, McClure went 2-3 with a 6.81 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 37 innings.[100] He returned to Charlotte to begin the 2022 season.[101]

Zach Remillard (born February 21, 1994) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Remillard grew up in Cohoes, New York and attended the La Salle Institute in Troy, New York. As a senior, he batted .406 with 12 doubles, four home runs, 19 RBI and 21 stolen bases and was named the Albany Times Union Player of the Year.[102] Remillard was selected in 38th round by the Houston Astros in 2012 Major League Baseball draft, but opted not to sign with the team.[103]

Remillard played college baseball at Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and was a starter for four seasons. He tore his Ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing elbow as a sophomore, but opted to play the rest of the season and wait until the summer to undergo Tommy John surgery. Remillard returned as a junior and hit .272 with six home runs, 12 doubles and 42 RBIs.[104] Remillard led the Chanticleers with 19 home runs while batting .341 with 72 RBIs on the 2016 National Championship team.[105][106]

Remillard was selected in the 10th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Chicago White Sox.[107] After signing with the team, he was initially assigned to the Arizona League White Sox, where he batted .310 with two home runs and nine RBIs before being promoted to the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League.[105] Remillard also spent the 2017 season with Kannapolis, hitting .246 in 133 games with 27 doubles, two triples, seven home runs, and 50 RBIs. He was assigned to the High-A Winston-Salem Dash and hit for a .250 average with 16 doubles, three triples, 11 homers, 52 RBIs in 2018. José Augusto Rodríguez (born May 13, 2001) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Rodríguez signed with the Chicago White Sox as an international free agent in February 2018.[109] He made his professional debut that season with the Dominican Summer League White Sox and played 2019 with the Arizona League White Sox.

Rodríguez did not play in 2020, due to there being no Minor League Baseball season because of Covid-19. He returned in 2021 to play for the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, Winston-Salem Dash and Birmingham Barons.[110][111] After the season he played in the Arizona Fall League.[112]

Hunter Schryver (born April 3, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Schryver attended Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, where he earned all-state honors in baseball as a senior in 2013.[113] He played college baseball at Villanova University. As a senior at Villanova in 2017, he started 12 games and went 4-6 with a 2.44 ERA.[114] Following the season's end, he was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the seventh round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.[115]

Schryver signed with the Rays and made his professional debut with the Hudson Valley Renegades of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League, going 4-0 with a 3.12 ERA and 38 strikeouts over 34+2⁄3 relief innings.[116] To begin the 2018 season, he was assigned to the Bowling Green Hot Rods of the Class A Midwest League and was promoted to the Charlotte Stone Crabs of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League during the season.

On July 31, 2018, Schryver was traded to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for international signing pool bonus money.[117] He was assigned to the Winston-Salem Dash of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League. Over 63+2⁄3 innings between Bowling Green, Charlotte, and Winston-Salem, he went 1-5 with a 2.12 ERA, eighty strikeouts, and 11 saves.[118] In 2019, he began the year with the Birmingham Barons of the Class AA Southern League before being promoted to the Charlotte Knights of the Class AAA International League. Schryver pitched to a 3-2 record and a 4.04 ERA over 62+1⁄3 innings pitched in relief between both teams.[119] In February 2020, he underwent Tommy John Surgery which would have forced him to miss the 2020 minor league season had it not been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[120] For the 2021 season, Schryver returned to Charlotte, making forty relief appearances and compiling a 1-0 record, a 4.98 ERA, and 48 strikeouts over 43+1⁄3 innings.[121] He returned to Charlotte to begin the 2022 season.[122]

Matthew Thompson (born August 11, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Thompson was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Cypress, Texas, where attended Cypress Ranch High School.[123] After his junior year, he played in the Perfect Game All-American Classic and the Under Armour All-America Game.[124] Thompson finished his senior season with a 13-0 record and a 0.87 ERA with 124 strikeouts.[125]

Thompson was selected in the second round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox.[126] After signing with the team, he was assigned to the Arizona League White Sox, where he made two one-inning appearances.[31] After the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19, Thompson was added to the White Sox's alternate training site.[127][33]

Yeyson Yrizarri Cruz (born February 2, 1997) is a Venezuelan-born Dominican professional baseball shortstop and second baseman in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Yrizarri signed with the Texas Rangers for a $1.375 million signing bonus in July 2013 . He made his professional debut in 2014, playing for both the DSL Rangers and AZL Rangers, compiling a combined .249 batting average with one home run and 25 RBIs in 60 total games between both teams. He spent 2015 with the Spokane Indians where he batted .265 with two home runs and 29 RBIs in 62 games. He was selected to appear in the All-Star Game.[130] He also played nine games for the Round Rock Express that year due to injures.[131][132]

In 2016, Yrizarri played for the Hickory Crawdads[133] where he collected a .269 batting average with seven home runs nd 53 RBIs. He began 2017 with the Hickory and was promoted to the Down East Wood Ducks in earlu July.

On July 15, 2017, Yrizzari was traded to the Chicago White Sox for an international bonus slot.[134] Chicago assigned him to the Winston-Salem Dash and he finished the season there. In 113 total games between the three teams, he slashed .268/.290/.380 with eight home runs and 48 RBIs.[135]

He returned to Winston-Salem to begin the 2018 season.
