Brad Trumbull

Brad Raymond Trumbull (November 25, 1924 – November 25, 1994) was an American film, stage and television actor.[2] He was known for playing the role of "Brody" in the American crime drama television series The Lawless Years.

Trumbull studied at the Pasadena Playhouse, later graduating in 1950.[1] After that, he then served in World War II.[1] Trumbull began his career in 1952, as appearing in the television series Gang Busters. He guest-starred in television programs, including, Gunsmoke, One Day at a Time, Diff'rent Strokes,[1] M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Mister Ed, The Golden Girls,[1] Tales of Wells Fargo, The Andy Griffith Show, Mannix, The Doris Day Show and Highway Patrol.[1] Trumbull also appeared in over ninety episodes of the variety television series The Carol Burnett Show.[1]

In his stage career, Trumbull co-starred with actress, Cathy Browne, who played the role of feminity old-maid "Lizzie", in which her character is the daughter of the character "H.C. Curry" (Robert Cornthwaite).[3] With his role in The Rainmaker, he played the role of the same name as the main title, but was also known as "Bill Starbuck".[3] Trumbull played his co-starring part well.[3] The play was shown at the Tustin Playbox, in which was written by N. Richard Nash and directed by William Schallert.[3]

Trumbull died in November 1994 of heart failure in Canoga Park, California, at the age of 70.[1]
