Bima Hill
Bima Hill is a hill in Gombe State. It is located in Yamaltu/Deba Local Government area. It has a prominence of 404m/ 1325 feet. [1][2]
Bima Hill is the fourth elevated hill in Gombe State out of the twenty three hills. Also, it is the first out of two in Yamaltu Deba. By prominence, Bima hill is the eighty second (82) out of two thousand and seventy four( 2074) in Nigeria, the second out of twenty three in Gombe and the first out two Yemaltu Deba.[1]

Shinga is a town in Yamaltu/Deba area of Gombe State, Nigeria.[3] It lies at an elevation of 425 meters between the Bima Hills and the left bank of the Gongola River. Shinga is situated 8 km north of Bima Hills. Other nearer villages are;
Geography
Bima hill is located to the left bank of Gongola River with latitude 10.3997°N, 11.5331°E.[7] with the elevation of about 764m[8]

The relief is less than 300m which rises above the surrounding land with the climate type of topical savanna.[9]
The feature of the hill is the hypsographic type which is the study and mapping of Earth's topography above the sea level[10]
Composition and Mineral resources
The soil of the Bima hill is moderately acidic in nature after some analysis. Due to the level of concentration of major elements found here, mining is difficult however it is easier to mine the trace elements.
The most abundant metal elements is potassium ,other abundants elements include iron,nickel,copper, chromium,managnese and calcium as well as pedogenic carbonates.[11]
