Battle of Lawrenceburg and Dog Walk
The Battle of Lawrenceburg and Dog Walk (also known as the Battle of Chesser's Store) took place on October 8th and 9th, 1862 in Anderson County, Kentucky during the Confederate Heartland Offensive. The skirmishes occurred in the small towns of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and Fox Creek (Dog Walk).
