Aisha (Arabic: عائشة, romanized: ʿĀʾisha)[lower-alpha 1] is an Arabic female given name meaning 'she who lives' or 'womanly'. It originated from Aisha, the third and youngest wife of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and is a very popular name among Muslim women.
