History

Anacapa School was founded in 1981 in Santa Barbara. It is located at 814 Santa Barbara Street, in a building that was once a World War II war hospital, as well as the Anna S.C. Blake School for Girls, and Santa Barbara Junior College. It was founded by Gordon Sichi.

Anacapa School empowers students to excel at critical thinking, creativity, integrity and compassion through academic and experiential learning in a close-knit, diverse community.

Administration

Dylan Minor assumed the role of head of school in 2018.
