The American University in Switzerland, AUS (formerly: AGSB - American Graduate School of Business) is not an accredited Swiss university.[6]

History

The American Graduate School of Business was established in September 1991 as a non-profit, private institution of higher education.[7] It is based on the American paradigm, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Business Administration, with a special emphasis on the cross-cultural commercial environment, providing knowledge for start-ups, family businesses, and managerial positions .[8]

In 2019, the American Graduate School of Business rebranded to the American University in Switzerland to reflect its growing status within international education.[9]

Academic programs

AUS offers English-language business education programs. Programs are classified at undergraduate and graduate level and include Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree programs in Business Administration (BSBA, MIBA and DBA).[10] Emphasis is placed on practical learning and preparing students for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
